The 'Wap', as it was known, stood in the basement of the Grosvenor House Hotel on Cambridge Street and was the dive bar of choice for rockers destined to finish their night out in the wee small hours at Rebel's.
Sadly The Wapentake is no more (along with Rebel's) but is still remembered fondly by those who had the pleasure of visiting.
